We have a new forum for OS X 3rd party Software. Please post all comments, questions, speculation...... in that forum.

If it's third party software and it's for OS X it belongs in the forum below.

OS X - Third Party Software

How about a OS X and Peripheral forum? CD Burners, Prininters, PC Cards, whatever.

Thanks.

Well considering the only difference is the driver that's needed I can't see there's much use for a new forum. Use the existing peripheral forum for questions about the device. If you can't get the driver/device to work then use Peripherals or OS X support forum.

I'll pass it along to the admin's though.

Scott,
It is time that MacNN consider breaking the OSX forum up into subcategories. Perhaps it should be broken out like so:

Mac OS X Operating System
(Dock, Finder, Appearance, services)
Mac OS X Applications
(Games, Servers, Word Processing, MySQL)
Mac OS X Lounge
(Speak to your MacNN OSX brethren)
Mac OS X Peripherals/Drivers
(Printers, Sound Cards, Monitors, CD-RW)

Just an idea (you might even consider buying a new server to run it on, because after the 24th, there are going to be a million questions posted from every Joe six pack, self made "l337 hax0r"

That's what's going on. OS X Gen is truly getting flooded and little old UBB is failing. So There's now the OS X 3rd party forum. Go ahead and do games in there. The only danger of having too many forums is that they don't get the traffic they need to be good.
