After upgrading my G4 Dual 1Gig to OS 10.3.9 my DVD player does not work anymore! It launches and just freezes, I have to force quit it all the time. Any ideas on how to get it back working? Thanks!

Maybe trash DVD Player prefs from YourHomeFolder/Library/Preferences/com.Apple.DVDPlayer.plist. See how that goes.

I am experiencing something similar. I just upgraded to 0.3.9 on yesterday. Afterwords, all of my Microsoft Office apps won't start up. I get the spinning beachball with my entourage. What should I do? Are there any other fixes or upgrades I should know about?

Well, the next "usual suspect" is permissions. Try repairing permissions and see if that helps.
