i have a lot of avi files that that'd i'd like to make into a video dvd [they're homemade biking videos from a message board community] but whenever i drag them onto toast it says it doesn't have the right codec. is there something i'm missing? are there any other burning programs that would let me do this beside iDVD. i don't want to shell out $80 for it. i'm poor and already spent a bundle on a dvd burner. thanks.

Can't you convert those .avi files thru ffmpegX so you can burn them on iDVD?
