Why can't I successfully update my firmware using G4 Firmware update 4.2.8? Try it every time: click shutdown "button" on screen, hold in programmer's key, hit power button on Mac, continue pushing in programmer's button until end of long tone, screen comes on with installer bar about 10% complete and then screen goes dark, kicks out CD tray, pulls it back in, grey screen, kicks out CD tray, pulls in CD tray, screen goes dark, starts up and window says to Reread G4 update instructions or cancel process. What should I do? Any suggestions much appreciated.
