You cannot use your iDisk for more than an hour at a time
unless you're copying a file. After one hour, and after any file
copying in progress is finished, your iDisk is disconnected.
Your iDisk is disconnected after 30 minutes of inactivity.
(Browsing folders counts as activity.)
You are warned before your iDisk is disconnected, but won't see
the warnings if you are copying a file when they are sent.
says the idisk help, but several times I have been cut off while copying a folder of files.
Today I had been connected about 20 minutes when I started to copy a folder (6MB) and half way through, about 10 more minutes, it disconnected.
It seems like it is not registering my activity, although other times I have been connected for an hour.
Why?
