Agreed on the id tag import bug with itunes 2.0. It takes roughly ten minutes to import the id tags of a cd burned with mp3s. (In itunes 1.0 and SoundJam it used to take 20 seconds). I just installed itunes 2.2 and the speed is back. I don't know why, since Apple didn't announce a fix of the id tag import problem - just language improvements. I'll see if it continues to work. But on a sour note, midway through playing my first song on 2.2 I tried to log onto the internet. Trying to connect, itunes crashed my mac with an Error ID 10. Yuck. Restarted, rebuilt desktop. Okay for now.
