since that Quicken fiasco (see 3rd party sw topic) I'm fishing for ideas here...

iMac DV SE, Cobalt Qube 2 (Linux server, multi volume), powerbook, networked.

Thoughts:
--QUE CDRW drive, MO, or other USB or FireWire with Retrospect on the iMac
Level of difficulty: low
capacity: medium
cost: medium
user-monitoring: low

--Tape drive on Linux with taper (app).
Level of difficulty: advanced
capacity: high
cost: high
user-monitoring: very low

--Existing Jaz 1GB on Linux
Level of difficulty: medium
capacity: medium
cost: medium
user-monitoring: medium

Any other thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks
