I have my Hard Drive Window set to List View and when opened it is scrolled down to where the top file is not visible. What's up with that? How do I fix that? Anyone?

Will that happen when you scroll to the top, close the window and then reopen?

Have you tried the usual stuff--use DiskWarrior to rebuild the HD, and then delete and rebuild the desktop? I've never seen a problem like you describe (in X yes, of course ), but maybe a little fine tuning will do the job.

this happened to me last year with ONE FOLDER..ALWAYS opened with the top file hidden...

after a lot of wasted time, i simply made a new folder & moved the items there...

does this happen with ALL folders showing list view? & what OS are you running?
