I used to go into the office in the AM and start whistling the "Chicken Dance" song and get it in everyone's head, and then I'd leave later that day and they'd all be still whistling/humming that stupid song.

(yeah it doesn't sound funny now...)

Some friends took me to a new club for my birthday on Sat, which turned out to be a latin youth club, so eveything they played was raggaeton (sp?) ie, all in spanish. I have this one song they played repeatedly stuck in my head. As I don't speak spanish, I have no idea what the lyrics were so i can't search for it.

if anyone knows a raggaeton song that has a part that sounds something like "Otoy otoy otoy!" which is repeated, please let me know

Depends on the day. Currently, I have ELO's "Calling America" stuck in me noggin.

Oddly enough, whatever song gets stuck is usually a free-association trigger based on a character name in World of Warcraft. Oh, the horror of incessant free-association, oh, the horror.

Ugh, I hate that Pure Prairie League tune. A friend of mine associated it with his
then girlfriend and I had to hear the thing 40,000 times. Puke me.

I go between "I wanna Dance Wit Choo" from Disco Tex & the Sex-O-Letts to
"Airhead" from Thomas Dolby, to
"Human Patterns" from Beanfield, to
"The Jetsons" theme.

Well, at least with the Jetsons theme, you can reword it to be "Beat George Jetson! Maim his wife! Slaughter Judy! Destroy Elroy!" which makes it far, far more palatable....

Muskrat, Muskrat, candle light Doing the town
and doing it right in the evening
It's pretty pleasing
Muskrat Suzie, Muskrat Sam do the jitterbug
out in Muskrat Land And they shimmy...
Sam is so skinny And they whirl and they twirl and they tango
Singing and jinging a jango
Floating like the heavens above
Looks like Muskrat Loooooooooooooove.

The theme to tetris is burned permanently into my subconcious. I used to play that game like I would die if I stopped.

Afternoon Delight
( Starland Vocal Band )

Gonna find my baby, gonna hold her tight
Gonna grab some afternoon delight
My motto's always been 'when it's right, it's right'
Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night?
When everything's a little clearer in the light of day
And we know the night is always gonna be there any way

Thinkin' of you's workin' up my appetite
Looking forward to a little afternoon delight
Rubbin' sticks and stones together makes the sparks ingite
And the thought of lovin' you is getting so exciting
Sky rockets in flight
Afternoon delight
Afternoon delight
Afternoon delight

Dizzy Miss Lizzy by The Beatles used to get stuck in my head. There are far worse songs to get stuck, though.

Little River Band - Lady

I remembering listening to the radio at night when I was around 8 years old. As I'd sleepily drift into slumber, my young, tired head melting into the pillow's enchanting embrace, that ****ing song would come on ALL the ****ing time! I'm serious. Like every night.

Ahh, but it's like a time warp now, ya know?

Y'know, I found her because her dance in the video for "J'en ai marre" is what was used for the female Night Elf in WoW. She's damn cute.

Heh. I ‘found’ her (if it can be called ‘finding’—I only have that one song) because my boyfriend had downloaded a cover version of the song by some Chinese singer whose name I can’t remember at the moment (Jīng Hǎijiàn, perhaps? Something like that). It got stuck in my head, so I downloaded the original, and it was stuck in my head again this morning.

“Ain’t gonna let nobody turn me around,
turn me around,
turn me around

Ain’t gonna let nobody turn me around,
Keep on walking,
keep on walking
[...]”

I have that one in my head right now. It’s used in some Danish ad (for a bank, I think), but I don’t know what the song is.
