I know the bluetooth keyboard works. It works great. The keyboard makes the iPad just like a laptop. The Magic Pad would add an extra layer of frosting. Have you tried it?
We use the iPad as a home computer because we could never get DSL with Verizon ..and their cel signal does not reach the house either. They are the local monopoly. I can get ATT with an antenna on the roof for both iPad and now iPhone.

The Magic Trackpad is currently the most awesome method of controlling a pointer/cursor.
Which the iOS, um, doesn't actually have.

iOS doesn't have provisions for a cursor; it'd require a major update (and likely rewrite). It's a touch-based OS.

The whole point of iOS is the complete and total ABSENCE of a mouse pointer.
Seriously, that's the fundamental design concept: No abstract "pointer" manipulated by some external tool - just the actual pointing with the finger.
You're asking whether Mercedes will add provisions for that really slick new feedbag you've seen in a future update of their SLK.

... I guess Steve never copied me on the memo about the whole point of iOS... Hey?! At least we can log on. I should be/am thankful for good parts. Thanks all.
