what's the name of the font used in this old Apple logo?

hmm looks like a modified "Bauhaus", but with edges instead of round upper parts.....

I dunno if it really has a name as such. It's pretty unusual to see any examples of it outside of the Apple logotype.

There is a version which I believe someone made to emulate it called 'Cupertino.' I've seen copies floating around on the web from time to time.

The P in "Cupertino" is different from the Ps in "apple."

Unfortunately, even after some Photoshop modification the usually very goodWhat the font doesn't have a clue.

The sign in front of my friend's apartment building that says "Mid-Continent Management" has the old Apple font. I didn't look close enough to see if it's real or the emulated Cupertino, though.
