Thanks for those videos. I always do love cast and crew commentary. Glad there is a nice group of people making this show.

A good episode. No cool things blowing up but some good character development in Lee Adama. Some weirdness in Pres. Roslyn though.

I didn't want Roslyn to die... but she's turning into a giant jerk. She's loosing that cool she used to have. Maybe it's time for a Roslyn coming to terms with herself episode.

She was dying so I guess that was making her "loose".

I think they just need to do that to make us at all sympathetic to Dr. Evil.

OMG 214 was the worst and most boring episode ever. I thought it would be after I saw the trailer.

Agreed. But you could tell from the podcast not to expect much.
I hope what was said in the podcast holds true i.e. we get another killer BSG episode next week

Season 2.5 is turning out to be quite the disappointment.
P.S. Can anyone play these BSG interviews? Both Flip4Mac and Windows Media Player choke on the clips for me. Damn Canadians.

So far 2.5 has been kick ass with the exception of 2e14. Let us pray that they learn from their mistakes.

I thought Resurrection Ship, Part 1 was good.
I thought Resurrection Ship, Part 2 was OK.
I didn't like Epiphanies much.
I didn't like Black Market much.
So that makes 2/4 episodes so far I wasn't that impressed with.

For me Black Market is the only one I didn't care for. Everything else was either amazing or good.

At least Moore acknowledges the myriad things that are wrong or crappy with this episode. Nice to see that kind of honesty.

I actually liked this episode. I thought it was a good break from the usual Gias-talking-to-himself, somebody-is-a-cylon! type of stories which have been a bit played out right now.
We saw good character development of Lee Adama, and got some hints about Roslyn possibly being changed somewhat after the blood transfusion. I thought it was also important to see the black market already in full effect on the fleet and human nature once again at it's worst.
The thing about ep14 was that it seemed a bit out of place, as if I had missed 4 or 5 eps before seeing it. Just last week we saw Roslyn seconds from death and the Sharon Cylon about to have her baby aborted only to be revealed that it's blood was some kind of miracle antidote. You can't just shelve plots like that so easily and shift to a philosophical type story about human nature.

Well, I actually just started watching BSG (1st season, of course) and I don't like it too much until S01E04. But I get the feeling that it will catch up with time. Does the show advance with ongoing episodes?

I dunno about the blood saving Roslin. It makes sense, but it had just kind of a deus ex machina kind of feeling to it.
I agree that 2x14 was just kind of lame. I'd like to see more development of the Cylon sympathizer's plot. I was really hoping that Baltar had finally resolved himself and gotten a conscience.
Who's in charge of Pegasus now?

Yep. It's clear that it is one story. I guess that they introduce the basic characters/plots etc. over the first few episodes. I would not say that I'm hooked, but again, I just started. And a 19 page thread seems promising, too.

Yeah I just read that that happened in the last episode. Which I haven't seen yet... In that case, I don't know who's in charge. Probably the equivalent of Gaeta on the Pegasus.

I don't get the feeling they are rookies, just that they are used to an entirely different post-homeworld-destruction culture than the Galactica and it's fleet.

I still can't reconcile Baltar's setting them up the bomb. Yeah, he's supposed to be a bad guy an all, but it just doesn't quite make sense (yet) given the way his character has been developed in this series. However, maybe like the original series he'll eventually become a complete traitor, and all of a Cylon base star will belong to him.

I'm with you on that. I don't quite buy it, either. However, if you listen to Moore's latest podcast, he says that the combination of Baltar's great intellect and insanely large ego make him a very dangerous man. Unfortunately, I don't think we've seen enough of Baltar's egotistical side. Mostly he's struck me as fidgety and uncertain and insecure, coupled with flashes of brilliance and insight.
