Trying to free up a series of ports for bit torrent downloads (i'm behind a firewall) but I can't figure out how to do it with the new 'N' base station. The older extreme is a little different.

For the record, i use bit torrent for work, NOT for pirating/bootlegging!

Thanks,
Kevin

You only need one port, e.g., 49153, on the latest version of BT (at least for Azureus). As for the forwarding, I don't have an N version and don't know anything about the latest APE software. Sorry.

They changed that in some of the later versions -- again, at least with Azureus. Now they recommend you don't use those ports or configure them for port forwarding. The latest documentation and Azureus wiki explains it all.
