If Wonder Woman makes it to the big screen, who should play her? She needs to be tall, curvy, and capable of a physical role; amazonian, basically. Obviously, waif-ish girls like Eliza Dushku or Mila Jovovich can't do it. How about:
Odette Yustmann? She's 5' 10"
Katherine Heigl with dyed hair?
Christina Hendricks with dyed hair? Only 5'6" but the curves are awesome!
Since someone's gonna say it: Megan Fox or Jessica Biel
Just not Angelina Jolie or Sandra Bullocks!

Beckinsale needs to get her ass back into some proper PVC and make another Underworld movie.
Wonder Woman? How about Adrianne Palicki?

I think if this movie was made 5-10 years ago a younger Jennifer Connelly would have made a perfect Wonder Woman.

Good looks, but too short. WW could almost look Superman in the eye, and he was 6' 4".

That's no big deal. They could do trick photography to make her look taller. Just ask Tom Cruise.

True, but she really doesn't have the frame for it, IMO.
IMDB says she's 38.

Cuthbert's way too tiny. I think Odette Yustmann is the best choice.

well that dress makes her look like a greek goddess!
I think Jolie could actually do a good job, but is too old, as is Zeta-Jones. They could play the Queen though.
There's no way I'd buy Sandra Bullock, just not classy enough.
Go with someone unknown.

I think whoever plays Wonder Woman has to be at least 30. Megan Fox in 10 years would be perfect. Jessica Biel has the look, but can't act her way out of a paper bag. Jolie's age and look make her perfect, but her you're-all-lesser-beings look (that are perfect for Laura Croft and Fox) wouldn't fit for Wonder Woman.
I think Wonder Woman needs to be played by an unknown. It can't just be someone we want to fantasize about in Wonder Woman's costume.

I'd rather they went with a 20-something. And does Zeta-Jones even act any more?
BTW, I think the WW costume will need some tweeking. The stars on the blue panties need to vanish, definitely.

Well, she has always looked younger for her age. I concur with Stogieman, Eleanor Abbott, Marion Silver, Ruth Kligman, Alicia Nash, Betty Ross… any of them would play a wonder of a woman.
Jessica Biel has the look, but can't act her way out of a paper bag
I wonder that -if true- really matters anymore… kind of computers UI, most people just prefer eye candy over usability. I couldn't name ten truly talented actresses which are still in the business.

I think it matters quite a bit. Wonder Woman is a rather complex character. She isn't the typical shootemup action character. Beil is nice to look at, but she's difficult to listen to.

I think Brooke Shields would have been a good choice 10 years ago... but she's too old now.

I'm not sure how old Wonder Woman is supposed to be - but I think Jessica Biel might work.
She appears large enough in a healthy maternal way, not waif-like Mila, or hard edged like Jolie.
I also believe WW needs a softer, wholesome appearance rather than a hard-bodied tart who looks like she can kill with a simple look.

It also depends on where they are beginning her story, when she first got powers, or further on. I remember reading she was a teen when she got powers, but... there are likely many versions of the origin story.
I agree she shouldn't be a waif.

Does anyone really care about Wonder Woman? I always thought she was a pretty lame character.

Being in debt and celebrating a lower deficit is like being on a diet and celebrating the fact you gained two pounds this week instead of five.

She's far more popular than Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Blade, and a lot of other second-tier heros who got their own films or tv shows. And like Superman and Spiderman, she's universally recognized. A well-made WW film would be like printing money.

Summer Glau is hot, but isn't very amazonian.
I'd like to add Eva Green to my casting couch. I think she could fill that suit nicely.

Well, there was no reason to be crude, and I am a married man... but we can leave it up to her how much she wants to show.

From the male perspective I understand Salma Hayek - lol - BUT I think Jessica Beel would be the right cast. Think her with dark hair. IMHO
