I re-installed OSX 10.1.3 last night plus re-installed OS 9.2.2, all new
partitions and now the video problems are gone. Sounds like a definite
software bug to me which affects firmware.

I have tried YDL 1.x and 2.1 on a 400 with AGP/DVD. It is not as good as either SuSE 7.1 0r SuSE 7.3. My suggestion: Buy SuSE 7.3.
